New Patients

Your initial visit at Manor Dental Health in Hull will last around 30 minutes. Up to one hour This allows us all the time we need to learn about you, your mouth and your dental desires in an unhurried, calm way.

Before your first appointment, we ask that you fill in a confidential patient questionnaire and bring it with you. You might like to attend 5 minutes early so that we do not have to use any of your appointment time for dealing with paperwork. We would also ask you to bring your current toothbrush with you.

Your nurse counsellor will check your details, discuss your dental history and any present problems. Your dentist, Nick Allday, will then complete a full clinical examination. This will involve checking your jaw joint and muscles, carrying out an oral cancer assessment and thoroughly examining the condition of your teeth, gums and bite. Following this, the nurse will discuss what has been found and what may be needed to control any dental disease in your mouth.
